Established in 1927, the University of the Southern Caribbean is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of St. Joseph (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in Barbados, Guyana, Tobago, Antigua and St. Lucia. Officially recognized by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago, University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational Trinidadian and Tobagonian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Adventist religion.
