Established in 1954, the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Seoul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
