Founded in 2003, the Royal University of Bhutan is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the small city of Thimphu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development of Bhutan, Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) is a coeducational Bhutanese higher education institution. Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
