Established in 1964, the University of Patras is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Patras (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Western Greece. This institution also has a branch campus in Agrinio. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, University of Patras (UP) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Greek higher education institution. University of Patras (UP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
