The Residence Halls are divided into eight Houses: Wisdom, Truth, Justice, Courage, Imagination, Service, Joy, and Dignity. These names were chosen by students and represent the qualities they hope to embody as AUW graduates.
Each House has Resident Assistants (RA), who are exemplary students trained to facilitate community meetings, resolve conflicts, develop programs, and provide support for students on campus. RAs work closely with Residence Life staff to ensure a welcoming, inclusive, safe, and secure environment within the Houses. They also organize community-building programs throughout the year.
The Residence Halls receive regular cleaning services from the housekeeping staff. Common areas and shared washrooms are cleaned daily, while student rooms and private washrooms are cleaned twice a month. Students are provided with cleaning supplies and encouraged to maintain their spaces as needed. Additionally, a weekly laundry service for bedding is available for students.
