Established in 2016, the University of Africa is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the small city of Toru-Orua (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Bayelsa. This institution also has a branch campus in Bolou Orua. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, University of Africa (UAT) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational Nigerian higher education institution. University of Africa (UAT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation) and bachelor's degrees in several areas of study.
