Established in 1966, the library of Lutsk National Technical University is a contemporary information institution with a primary objective of delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and timely library, bibliographic, and information services to its readers, tailored to their specific requirements. The library's collection comprises 290,979 educational, methodical, and scientific resources, including literature and periodicals available in Ukrainian and other languages, in both physical and electronic formats.
Efforts are currently underway to develop and implement automated library technologies, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the library's operations. Within the university's local network, the LNTU Diplom LNTU/Metod LNTU repository functions as a platform for storing and sharing academic materials produced by the university's students and faculty.
To broaden the range of resources available, the library provides access to various information databases, namely SCOPUS, Web of Science, Science Direct, Research4Life, Springer Link, and BioOne. These databases grant users access to a vast array of academic journals, articles, research papers, and other scholarly materials, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in their respective fields.
Furthermore, the library department is responsible for managing subscriptions to periodicals. This service ensures that readers have regular access to the most recent issues of relevant journals and magazines, keeping them well-informed about current research and developments in their areas of interest.
