The Scientific Library of the National University of Pharmacy serves as an information and communication center for education and science. Its mission is to foster intellectual growth and support the education of aspiring pharmacy professionals. The library's extensive collection serves as a documentary testament to the evolution of pharmaceutical education and research, both in Ukraine and worldwide. It proudly houses valuable and unique domestic and foreign publications related to pharmacy, including textbooks, manuals, methodological developments, monographs, conference materials, and periodical articles.

The library's fund encompasses various collections, including:

1. A collection of rare and valuable publications from the 19th and 20th centuries in Russian, English, and German, comprising 401 copies. Notable works include "Guide to Pharmaceutical and Medical-Chemical Practice" (1889), "Archiv der Pharmazie," "Zeitschrift für Analytische Chemie," "Pharmaceutisch Weekblad" (1842), "Pharmaceutical Journal" from 1879, and others.

2. Unpublished documents, such as about 9,000 copies of dissertations, abstracts of dissertations, diploma, and master's theses.

3. More than 549,000 copies of scientific, educational, reference, and artistic publications.

4. Approximately 27,000 electronic documents.

The library ensures user convenience through its six delivery desks and six modernly equipped reading rooms, equipped with advanced computer technology. A wide range of electronic resources is available to users, including an electronic catalogue, an electronic library, and an electronic archive of NUPh. Furthermore, the library houses several bibliographic databases, including "Proceedings of scientists of the NFaU", "Book supply of the educational process", "Electronic abstract journals VINITI" and "Abstracts of dissertations NUPh" enriching the research experience for students and researchers alike.

NUPh offers well-organized and equipped dormitories for students to ensure comfortable living conditions. Here are some key points about the housing offering:

• 100% of arriving students are provided with accommodation in hostels.
• The NUPh campus includes:
• 6 hostels
• Department of household maintenance and hostel service
• Service on educational work and organization of students’ life
• Settlement and student registration service
• Hostels number 5 and number 6 are designated for students of NUPh college.
• In NUPh hostel №1, there is a Centre for Primary Health Care that provides urgent medical diagnostic and preventive care to students and university staff.
• Services offered at the PHC Center include:
• Medical examinations and treatments by therapists, gynecologists, and dentists
• Measurement of blood pressure, weight, height
• Electrocardiographic examination and blood tests
• Parenteral injections and preventive vaccinations
• Physiotherapeutic and gynecological procedures
• Focus on education for healthy lifestyle habits and prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases
• Support in breaking harmful habits and fostering responsibility for students' health

Sport Facilities/Activities

This institution features sporting facilities and organizes sports activities for its students.

The National University of Pharmacy provides a range of sport activities and facilities for its students and staff. These include:

• Physical culture and Health complex covering an area of 2860 m², featuring 6 gyms.
• A football field with an artificial covering spanning 1087.5 m².
• Tennis courts covering an area of 3280 m².

The university has recently upgraded its gyms, equipping them with modern facilities. Within the Physical culture and Health complex, there are specific halls for volleyball, exercise, gymnasium activities, fitness, and medical physical culture. Moreover, capital repairs have been undertaken to improve locker rooms, shower rooms, and bathrooms.

The Physical culture and Health complex, in collaboration with the Department of physical rehabilitation and health, actively organizes and hosts various sports competitions.

The university offers paid services for sports activities such as volleyball, football, handball, fitness, athletic gymnastics, tennis, and sports ballroom dances. These services are organized by the Physical culture and Health complex in partnership with the Department of physical rehabilitation and health.
