Established in 1971, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Technical University of Madrid) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Madrid (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Community of Madrid. This institution also has branch campuses in Pozuelo, Getafe and Alcobendas.
