  • Submission of documents is done between June 20 and July 20 of the year.
  • Documents should be submitted on the online platform of the University website (https://tsuos.uz/en/).
  • Required documents include a scanned version of the passport (in PDF format) and a scanned version of the certificate or diploma with notarized translation into Russian or Uzbek. For master's programs, a scanned version of the bachelor's diploma with notarized translation is required (in PDF format).
  • Applicants should provide a photo with the size of 3.5×4.5 (in JPEG format).
  • For foreign citizens, deadlines for document applications can be extended, and they can contact the university at the provided contact numbers.
  • Original hard copies of the certificate, diploma, and other necessary documents, along with a notarized translation into Russian or Uzbek, are to be submitted to TSUOS at the beginning of the academic year.

The admission procedure for foreign citizens seeking to study at TSUOS is as follows:

  • For bachelor's degree applicants, an interview is conducted by the Selection Commission members in their chosen field of education. The interview takes place in the first or second half of August in Russian or Uzbek languages online.
  • For master's program applicants, an interview is held in the second half of August in Russian or Uzbek languages online.

The International Department of TSUOS provides support to foreign students in obtaining necessary documents for a visa/registration and assists in arranging accommodations, either in a TSUOS dormitory or finding an alternative place of residence.

The electronic library of the institute provides access to full texts of the main textbooks.

In 2013, with support from KOICA Korea, a modern electronic library was established at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The library is equipped with numerous scanners, and readers can find and access electronic copies of printed materials via the institute's local network. Professors, researchers, and students have the convenience of ordering the IRC catalogue directly through the university's local network to obtain the literature they need. Moreover, they can download electronic versions of textbooks for over 500 disciplines taught to students.
