University Library

This institution has a physical Library.

The Turkish-German University Library has evolved over the years to better support the educational and research activities within and outside the university. Its journey began in 2013 with a modest 80 m� room, and by 2014, it had expanded to two separate spaces totaling 170 m�. In 2016, it continued its service in these areas. In the latter part of 2018, the library found its new home in the newly inaugurated faculties building, boasting a spacious 651 m� area.

The library's primary objective is to enrich its collection in alignment with the teaching and research domains of the university, aiming to augment the number of high-quality information resources available to its users. These resources are organized according to the Library of Congress classification system and are conveniently accessible through an open shelf system.

With each new addition, information sources are meticulously cataloged in the library's automation system, adhering to international standards. This allows users to seamlessly access bibliographic information, eliminating constraints of space and time.

Among the rich array of resources available are books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, electronic books, and electronic databases. The library's holdings continue to grow, bolstered by annual budget allocations, as well as contributions from esteemed organizations like DAAD and generous individuals.

The library places a strong emphasis on electronic resources, aligning with the information landscape of our era. Equipped with modern information technologies, it strives to offer a comprehensive suite of library services to the university's faculty and students, extending its operational hours to accommodate diverse schedules.

University Housing

T�rk-Alman �niversitesi has constructed a building on campus to cater to the accommodation needs of female students. This facility was completed and became operational in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The on-campus apartment building comprises 3 floors, offering 1 + 1 and 2 + 1 apartments equipped with an elevator. One of the apartments is specially designed to accommodate disabled students. Each apartment features an American kitchen along with a toilet and bathroom. These apartments house a total of four individuals, with two occupants per room. Additionally, amenities such as 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, internet access, and a backup generator are provided. The American-style kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, a two-burner electric cooker, and an exhaust fan. There is a shared laundry and ironing area available for students to attend to their laundry needs.
