Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo

The Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) or Association of Universities Grupo Montevideo, is a network of universities in Latin America. Founded in 1991, AUGM comprises 35 member universities from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.

AUGM's mission is to promote academic and scientific collaboration among its member universities and to contribute to the development of higher education in the region. The organization achieves this by promoting student mobility, academic exchange programs, joint research projects and other collaborative initiatives among its members.

AUGM also advocates for policies and initiatives that support the development of higher education in the region and seeks to enhance the quality and relevance of higher education through the sharing of knowledge, resources and best practices among its members.

In addition to its academic and scientific activities, AUGM also engages in cultural exchange and social responsibility initiatives, with the aim of fostering greater understanding and cooperation among the peoples of the region.
