Established in 1969, the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is a US-based accrediting agency that evaluates and accredits educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance imaging and medical dosimetry.
The JRCERT is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The organization is committed to ensuring the quality and effectiveness of educational programs in radiologic technology by establishing accreditation standards, conducting program evaluations and promoting continuous quality improvement.
The JRCERT is governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives from various stakeholder organizations, including the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
