The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) is an organization that accredits chiropractic education programs in the United States. The CCE's Commission on Accreditation is responsible for ensuring that chiropractic programs meet the organization's educational standards.
The CCE was founded in 1971 and is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the accrediting agency for chiropractic education. The organization is also a member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA).
The CCE's Commission on Accreditation evaluates chiropractic programs based on several criteria, including faculty qualifications, curriculum content, clinical training and research opportunities. Accreditation by the CCE is required for graduates of chiropractic programs to be eligible for licensure in most U.S. states.
