Overview

The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is a consortium of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. It was founded in 1970 and is based in Washington, D.C.

The mission of the AJCU is to promote Jesuit higher education and to provide a forum for its member institutions to collaborate on issues of common concern. The organization advocates for Jesuit education in the United States and provides support to member institutions in areas such as leadership development, strategic planning and fundraising.

The AJCU also promotes collaboration among its member institutions on a variety of issues, including research, service learning and social justice.
