National Association of Schools of Dance, Commission on Accreditation

The National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD) Commission on Accreditation is an accrediting agency that evaluates and accredits dance programs and schools in the United States. NASD was founded in 1981 and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an institutional accrediting agency. The NASD Commission on Accreditation evaluates dance programs based on a set of standards related to curriculum, faculty, facilities, student support services and other factors.
