Established in 1995 , the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific is an higher education association which has 210 members from 19 countries.
The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) is a non-profit organization that aims to foster cooperation among universities and promote regional and international understanding and goodwill through education and cultural exchange.

The AUAP is based in Thailand. Its members include universities and institutions of higher education from Asia, the Pacific and other regions. The AUAP provides a platform for member universities to exchange ideas, collaborate on research projects and engage in joint academic programs and initiatives. It also organizes conferences, seminars and workshops on various topics related to higher education and international cooperation.
