Sveriges universitets- och högskoleförbund - SUHF (Association of Swedish Higher Education) is a membership organization that represents the Swedish universities and university colleges. It was founded in 1993 and has 39 member institutions.
The main objectives of SUHF are to promote the common interests of its member institutions and to contribute to the development of higher education and research in Sweden. The organization works to influence national policies and legislation related to higher education, research and innovation and to provide a forum for its members to exchange information and best practices.
Some of the key activities of SUHF include:
- Advocating for increased public funding for higher education and research
- Providing guidance and support to member institutions on issues related to quality assurance, internationalization and sustainability
- Organizing conferences and workshops for members to share knowledge and best practices
- Collaborating with other national and international organizations to advance the interests of Swedish higher education and research.
