Overview

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission of the Palestinian Territory (AQAC) is responsible for the evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance of higher education institutions in the Palestinian Territory. AQAC was established in 2002 and operates under the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Its main goal is to promote quality higher education and ensure that Palestinian higher education institutions meet international standards. AQAC also aims to promote a culture of quality assurance in Palestinian higher education institutions and to enhance the international recognition and mobility of Palestinian graduates.
