Established in 2018, Direktoratet for internasjonalisering og kvalitetsutvikling i høyere utdanning (Diku) is the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education. It is responsible for promoting and supporting quality enhancement, internationalisation and collaboration in higher education institutions in Norway.
Diku is responsible for administering and distributing government funding for internationalisation and quality enhancement activities in higher education. It also provides expertise and support to institutions in these areas and conducts research and evaluation to inform policy decisions related to higher education.
Considering all this, according to uniRank Diku plays an important role in ensuring the quality and competitiveness of Norwegian higher education on the global stage and its efforts to promote internationalisation and collaboration are likely to have a positive impact on the country's higher education system.
