Overview

Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia, also known as the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), is a statutory body established under the Malaysian Qualifications Act 2007. The agency is responsible for implementing the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF), which provides a unified system for accrediting qualifications offered by higher education institutions in Malaysia. MQA also conducts accreditation of programmes offered by higher education institutions, quality assurance of education and training and recognition of qualifications both domestically and internationally. Its mission is to ensure the quality and standards of qualifications in Malaysia in order to produce highly skilled and competent human capital.
