Mexican Association for International Education

Established in 1992, the Asociación Mexicana para la Educación Internacional (AMPEI) or Mexican Association for International Education, is a non-profit organization that promotes international education and academic exchange in Mexico. AMPEI comprises institutional and individual members from universities, research centers, government agencies and other organizations involved in international education and academic exchange.

AMPEI's mission is to promote and enhance the quality and relevance of international education in Mexico and to support the development of academic exchange programs, research collaborations and other initiatives that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding in the region and beyond.

The organization achieves this by providing networking and professional development opportunities for its members, as well as by advocating for policies and initiatives that support international education and academic exchange in Mexico. AMPEI also collaborates with international organizations and partners to promote cooperation and collaboration in the field of international education.

In addition to its advocacy and networking activities, AMPEI also promotes research and innovation in international education and supports the development of programs and initiatives that promote intercultural understanding and global citizenship among students and scholars in Mexico and beyond.
