Overview

The Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) is a network of quality assurance agencies, institutions and other stakeholders in the Caribbean region. Its mission is to promote and enhance quality assurance in tertiary education in the Caribbean through collaboration and cooperation among its members. CANQATE aims to provide a platform for sharing best practices, capacity building and promoting the use of regional standards for quality assurance in higher education. The network was established in 2004 and is headquartered in Jamaica.
