Overview

Established in 2006, the Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca (ANVUR) or Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes, is an independent agency responsible for evaluating the quality of the Italian university system and research institutions. ANVUR aims to promote a culture of evaluation and quality improvement by conducting assessments, providing support and guidance and promoting best practices in higher education and research.
