Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq

Established in 1961, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq is a government ministry responsible for the development and regulation of higher education and scientific research in Iraq. Its mission is to promote and support high-quality education and research, foster innovation and entrepreneurship and enhance the skills and capabilities of the Iraqi workforce.

The ministry is responsible for formulating policies, strategies and plans for higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
