National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education of Indonesia

Established in 1994, Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi - BAN-PT (National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education of Indonesia) is the national accreditation agency for higher education in Indonesia. Its primary role is to assure the quality and standards of higher education institutions and programs in Indonesia through the accreditation and recognition process.

The BAN-PT evaluates and accredits higher education institutions and programs based on a set of criteria and standards that cover various aspects of institutional and program quality, such as faculty qualifications, curriculum design, teaching and learning methods, research, facilities and student support services.
