Agencija za znanost i visoko obrazovanje

Agencija za znanost i visoko obrazovanje - AZVO (Agency for Science and Higher Education) is the Agency for Science and Higher Education in Croatia. It was established in 2005 as a public institution responsible for quality assurance in higher education and science.

The primary role of AZVO is to ensure that Croatian higher education institutions and their study programs meet the necessary standards and criteria. They evaluate and accredit programs and institutions, provide recommendations for improvement and promote the development of quality culture in higher education. In addition, the Agency for Science and Higher Education is responsible for managing the Croatian Higher Education Information System, which provides a database of accredited study programs and institutions in Croatia.

Considering all this, according to uniRank Agencija za znanost i visoko obrazovanje plays an important role in ensuring the quality of higher education in Croatia and promoting the continuous improvement of institutions and programs. Their work is important for maintaining the integrity and reputation of Croatian higher education both domestically and internationally.
