Overview

The African Quality Assurance Network (AfriQAN) is a network of quality assurance agencies and bodies in Africa. It was established in 2008 and is coordinated by the African Union Commission (AUC). The main aim of the network is to promote quality assurance in higher education in Africa by facilitating cooperation and sharing of best practices among member countries. AfriQAN also provides a platform for dialogue and exchange of information on issues related to quality assurance in higher education. It has members from different African countries, including national quality assurance agencies, accreditation bodies and higher education institutions.
