Overview
Million+ is a university think-tank and lobbying group in the United Kingdom, representing 24 modern universities. The organization was founded in 1997 as Campaigning for Mainstream Universities (CMU) and renamed Million+ in 2004. Its mission is to promote the value of modern universities in the UK and to lobby the government to support their role in higher education. Million+ advocates for policies that support research, teaching and knowledge exchange in modern universities and it works to raise awareness of the contributions made by modern universities to the UK economy and society.
