Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación

Founded in 2002, the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación, ANECA) is a government agency in Spain responsible for evaluating and accrediting the quality of higher education institutions and programs. ANECA was established in 2002 and is responsible for developing and implementing evaluation and accreditation procedures for universities and other higher education institutions in Spain.

Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación has been recognized for its rigorous evaluation process and its commitment to ensuring the quality of higher education in Spain. Its evaluations are based on a set of criteria that include the quality of teaching and research, the relevance of the programs to society and the job market and the resources available to support learning and research.
