Established in 2002, the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) is a quality assurance agency based in Germany that provides evaluation and accreditation services to higher education institutions and their programs in the field of business, management and social sciences. FIBAA has been operating since 1994 and is one of the leading accreditation agencies in Europe.
FIBAA's primary mission is to ensure and promote the quality of education and training offered by higher education institutions. It assesses and evaluates academic programs against a set of criteria that cover a range of areas, including program content, teaching and learning methods, academic staff qualifications, student support services and graduate outcomes. The accreditation process also includes an external peer review, where a team of experts from FIBAA visits the institution and conducts a comprehensive evaluation.
FIBAA accreditation is recognized in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. It is also a member of several international organizations, including the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
Considering all this, according to uniRank FIBAA plays an important role in promoting and ensuring the quality of higher education in the field of business and management, both in Europe and internationally.
