European Consortium of Innovative Universities

The European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) is a network of 13 European universities that collaborate on research and education to address global challenges and drive innovation. The network was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in the Netherlands.

ECIU aims to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and societal impact through its member universities. The network focuses on four areas of expertise: health, energy, digitalization and learning and teaching. Through collaboration, member universities work on developing innovative solutions to global challenges and promoting sustainable development.
