The organization has been involved in the design and implementation of a range of programs and initiatives aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of higher education in the country, including efforts to promote innovation, research and internationalization.
In recent years, CONARE has also been actively involved in promoting social and environmental sustainability in higher education in Costa Rica. However, like many other higher education organizations around the world, CONARE faces a range of challenges, including issues related to funding, accessibility and the quality of education and research. It will be important for the organization to continue to adapt and evolve in response to these challenges, while remaining true to its mission of promoting and defending the interests of the Costa Rican university system.
