The National Accreditation Commission (Comisión Nacional de Acreditación, CNA) is an autonomous organization in Chile responsible for ensuring the quality of higher education institutions and programs.
It was created in 2003 and operates under the Ministry of Education. Its main function is to accredit institutions and programs according to established criteria and standards, which are periodically reviewed and updated.
The Comisión Nacional de Acreditación also provides guidance and support to institutions seeking to improve their quality and standards.
