Established in 2012, the Austrian Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung und Akkreditierung Austria, AQA) is the independent body for quality assurance and evaluation for public an private universities and universities of applied sciences in Austria. AQA is a non profit organisation and its members are the Austrian Rectors' Conference, the Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences, the Association of Private Universities, the Students Union and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.
