Overview

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is a regulatory authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2006 to improve the quality of education and training in Dubai and to oversee educational institutions in the Emirate. The KHDA is responsible for regulating and licensing all educational institutions in Dubai, including public and private schools, colleges, universities and training institutes.

The KHDA's mandate is to promote the development of a high-quality education system that meets the needs of students, parents, employers and the wider community in Dubai. It aims to ensure that educational institutions in Dubai provide a high-quality education that meets international standards and that students receive the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers and in life.
